Visited CVS Ashley River Road, was interested in purchasing an Ionizer that was listed as that store having it in stock.. Walked each aisle with hope of finding it. After about 15 minute stop by the Pharmacy (which did not have patrons at that time), and asked an individual if they had an idea of where I could find the item.. I was told to check with the clerks in the front of the store. I pull the item up on my phone to show the young lady what I was looking for. She had no clue, but asked her manager who look at the item and told me to go to the end of aisles. # 12. He was informed that I already walked each aisle and could not find it. I was told it was hanging up on 12. I left the store to never shop there again.

The pharmacists are beyond rude. As other reviews state, the pharmacists at this location act as though you’re annoying or an inconvenience for dropping off a prescription with them. I dropped a prescription off and waited 3 days. I called and asked about its status and they told me they didn’t get any of the medicine i needed in their shipment and that i needed to come get my prescription papers. How about calling the patient as soon as you find out that info? Completely unprofessional. Don’t waste your time here.

Do not have your prescriptions filled here. Any other close CVS location is worth the additional drive and inconvenience. Incredibly rude pharmacists, very unhelpful, and honestly just unable to complete fairly routine and simple tasks that one would expect at a pharmacy. From personal experience of 2 people. There's a reason this location overall has only 2.something stars. Truly awful.

An honest review: The newest technician (Cara) treated me like I was an inconvenience for coming to the window to order my prescriptions and turn in my insurance information. She said multiple times “I can’t hear you.” I was speaking as loud as I could but she didn't open the window so there wasn’t really anything more I could do. I tried repeating myself several times for her. She sighed heavily and walked away to say something (I’m guessing a complaint about me) to the other staff, then came back and chided me for holding up the line. My husband has also been treated rudely when he tried to pick up his prescriptions so I don’t think it was just one bad day, I know we all have those at times. The other pharmacists have always been kind and helpful but after dealing with Cara the last few times we are more than ready to move elsewhere for our prescriptions.

They close at 10pm, I called at 9:30 to ask about getting OTC covid test due to exposure. The phone rang for 10 minutes. Drove over there and door was locked at 9:45pm. I politely asked the clerk who was locking the door what time they closed. She very rudely said it was a safety issue she can’t help me. I asked if it was possible to give her my card while I waited in my card, I was desperate to get a test. She very shortly told me she already locked the door so go somewhere else. So long story short, she closed the store down 30 minutes early, didn’t answer the phone during store hours, and essentially told me to go potentially spread COVID around other stores since she would have to unlock the door. Feels like CVS wanted me to go spread covid because it was too much of a hassle to help me.

The pharmacy team at the Ashley River Road location is great and that’s why I have kept going there. Sometimes they’re having issues with medication not being there when I need it but in the past within a day or two I had what I needed or we get a partial. Today I had a completely different experience with the woman working the drive-through. After waiting five days for meds I go to the drive-through and this younger heavyset woman named Lakenya she Told me that it still wasn’t ready and I asked to get a partial and she refused. I called in and was told I could do a partial - went back through the drive-through and that woman proceeded to argue and yell at me in front of my young child. I have never in my life been so disrespected by a person in customer service let alone a pharmacy customer service. The pharmacist had to come to the drive-through window to serve me and give me my much-needed estrogen patch. Thank you Nick for being human and seeing that it wasn’t a hamburger I was upset about it was medication that is vital to survival.

Consistently the worst service possible from a pharmacy. You can ask them to stock your medication but you better call them several times during the month just to see. They are layered with incompetence and errors. If they were subject to quality control regarding their customer service they would be banned. A pharmacy is an essential part of your health care. They are an insult to your doctor, to the labs you use, to family members who as sure as there will be tomorrow will have to travel to get a med that they simple refused to stock. And foremost they are a threat to your health! Statistical process control is nowhere to be found...and bank on them not knowing you or treating you as a person. You will be pill shamed and lied to and the crazy thing is this is A CVS phenomenon. No other pharmacy will you encounter such negligence. If you have problems Im sure your Dr. can call them and demand you be supplied with your formulary and treated humanly. But hey they make money for their share holders and thats our national religion.

I traveled here after going to another CVS in WA and was extremely happy. There pharmacy area was wide open and the consulting desk is something all CVS stores should invest. Sonia, Brittany and Markelle was amazingly helpful and when I asked why the flu shot was cheaper here versus the CVS that I left from, Markelle said that they should have offered a discount that all CVS stores are running. I'm really happy I completed my process at this location. Thanks guys!

I've been using this pharmacy for several years and am going to change this next month. It takes 20-30 minutes to fill rxs and the store carpet and counters are filthy ! The blonde pharmacist is rude every single time I see her. They seem to have a high turnover rate as it's difficult to garner a report with any of the pharmacy staff. They always seem to be too busy to be kind. Customers wouldn't be there if they didn't need to ! They need a good cleanse. They also have isles that are cluttered with stock and dirty bathrooms.

I have been a getting medications for years from CVS, I have no idea what has happened since 2018. I have had multiple instances of issues, online, via text floods as well as incessant phone calls. Being told one thing over the phone and getting various bizarre responses. Being told meds prescriptions were on file, asking for a refill, being told it would be ready, showing up and being told there were no refills. This isn’t just one instance, it’s been 8 or 9. Just this week, I moved my service to another provider that does not include CVS in their name.
