Avis Car Rental

Please check my review history, I rarely leave anything but high-star reviews. Avis has a new strategy to trick people into fees. It used to be insurance, now it's "toll" or "daily convenience fee toll counter product". When I rent with ANY other agency, the toll function is automatic, and I happily pay the tolls as they are tabulated, plus a one or two dollar fee, no problem. Recently another company dropped the ball and I had to use Avis for the first (and last) time in years. When they ask, "will you be driving through tolls?", what they are ACTUALLY asking is, 'would you like us to charge you $14.99 per day just in case you go on a toll?' I wasn't within 20 miles of a toll road for over a week, and Avis still charges for "Toll Service". Emails to customer service were about at dismissive as you could expect. The onus is on me, I now remember why I pay extra not to use companies like ~codycmiller11

Lovely Nails & Spa

Best manicure ever! I got a Gel manicure done here and it's lasted for well over 3 weeks without chipping or peeling - something I've never had before! Really great staff and a big selection of colors for both gel, regular and dip powder. Everyone wears masks and there's a lot of space in the salon for everyone. Not the best customer service. I asked for a size for a shoe and tried it on and the employee told me he can order a different size if I wanted to. Right after trying the shoe, I decided to ask one of the 3 employees on the floor to order a size online for me. He told me to get in line and ask the cashier to do it. Mind you, there were 5 people ahead of me and it was 20 mins before close. I was already in the store for 10 mins to find the shoes and there was only one cashier. I decided to leave and order the shoes another time. As I left, the employee who told me to get in line hopped on the register and started ringing people because he realized it was busy. Complete waste of my time and very inconvenient. He could have ordered the shoes for me, but chose not to. ~Chris

Great prices and finally stocked up on new merchandise!. Their fitting rooms have been closed for months while other department stores had theirs open. Unfortuntely because they had them closed this prevented us from purchasing clothes for many months since we weren't able to try them on! Finally went this past weekend and bought a lot of clothes (jeans!) 😊(Happy) with their service, great prices and variety, clean bathrooms too! Thank you ~Anna

👍 I had a vacuum shipped to me … both boxes had large holes in them also from reading the directions it was going to be a problem to clean the brush. I brought it back to BBB in Braintee MA -I asked for a manager -everyone was very polite . They brought it in from my car then carried a new better vacuum with a self cleaning brush for me. They gave me a good price for all my inconvenience. Don’t forget the 20% off coupons they don’t expire! Very impressed! 2022 Memorial day I needed to buy an air purifier “bed Bath and beyond” had a couple online saying it was a sidewalk sale but you had to come in by that day Monday. So I drove in traffic in 90° temperature to unwillingly go. There was not no sidewalk sale and they were very few air purifiers inside. The sales people said they didn’t know about that online-so someone dropped the ball on that! I was not happy! ~Donna

Fisher Experience Salon and Spa

Wonderful service from the moment you walk in!! You are properly greeted and well taken care of. They offer coat check, refreshments, and everyone has a great disposition. I'm especially impressed with their cleaning/disinfecting protocols and the overall ambience of the salon. I had to switch from the shampoo station to the dryers several times and each time there was someone wiping everything down. My stylist Britt was attentive and knew exactly what I wanted with my hair. Very happy with their service. Highly recommended salon! ❤️ ~Elle

The UPS Store

Absolutely awful, the worst cusomer service I've ever had. A male employee, who works there was absolutely rude, mocking me without even trying to communicate in a normal way. I had two packages to return to Amazon. I brought them open, not having a previous experience in the return process. I thought they will put some label inside and that is the reason why I didn't seal the packages at home. My Amazon instructions in the email said that UPS will pack it themselves. The male employee who took in the packages made a face and put a shipping label on one of my packages WITHOUT SEALING IT. I said: "Wait a second, I dont want to damage the item, I want to return it back safely." The guy started repeating in a very mocking way, while making faces and rolling up his eyes: Do you want to buy a tape? I couldn't understand what was happening, as he wasn't providing any reasonable explanation on why he'd seal one package but wouldn't seal the other one. He just kept mocking me and obviously ENJOYING HIMSELF in the process. Then he REFUSED to continue working with me and my package - he simply turned away and called the next in line. I got very upset at that point. Wouldn't anyone?? Then a female employee came to help, she was nice. She explained that one of the packages had different instructions about packing (that was a very confusing part from having two different packages with different conditions from Amazon - something I genuenly didn't know). To put one piece of tape on one package I bought a $3.99 tape. It would NOT be a problem, if the guy politely explained to me in the beginning that one of the packages had to be packed by me/my material because it had a different QR code. Was it really necessary to treat your client this way? Was it a proper communication from the male employee? No. It was very rude and disrespectful. He enjoyed his offensive ways, he enjoyed seeing me getting very upset. On the top of it, when I was leaving, the guy LOUDLY LAUGHED into my back! Seriously, UPS store???? This employee should NOT be working with people. Shame on him! Shame on the UPS store for hiring such staff and not training him on BASIC customer skills. I will definitely avoid this location and additionally will send my comments to UPS headquarter and Amazon. Obviously, Amazon returns are not welcomed here. ~Yulia
